Today the robin flew into my face while I was weeding and while picking strawberries a frog jumped into my hand. I took this to prove our proximity…I like to think that the wildlife at BE is not tamer than elsewhere, just that we are becoming wild. Perhaps being covered in mud and close to the ground the creatures think we are just another type of plant. I’m sure it is they, who watch us with amusement.
Here’s a taste of some of the things we were busy harvesting today…This is how we harvest; straight from plant into punnet… By hand.
